MIL-P-15328 Resin/Acid Wash Primer |
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
A resin-acid type pre-treatment wash primer for use on metal surfaces of all types, but particularly effective on such surfaces as aluminum and cadmium plating where good adhesion is a problem. Its purpose is to increase the adhesion of the coating system and it should not be considered a permanent protective coating by itself. Green in colour.
MIXING-APPLICATION:
Mixing ratio by volume of 4 parts primer (resin component), one part acid component and 2 parts T-120-66 Thinner. Slight additional thinning may be done with T-120-66 but not with acid component. Pre-mix the acid component with T-120-66 Thinner then slowly stir this mixture in with the primer. Spray one thin semitransparent coat. Use mixed materials within 8 hours.
DRY TIMES: Dry to topcoat in 15-30 minutes.
VOLUME SOLIDS: 9.5%
FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY
